I believe Sundays are the most competitive days of the week.
For it not only rained heavier this Sunday, it rained much longer. I could hear the rain bitch-slapping my window panes even before I opened my eyes.
As the rain did not let up, I had to shelf my plans of going shutter crazy along the Singapore River path.
Ended up at Central, a very sleepy mall with a lack of crowd, and most of the tenants idling away. I do note that Central does seem to retail products for EXORBITANT prices! Take for eg, I bought my Sunjar at $32, and Decohub (I think thats the name) retails it at $59.90.
And is it just me? Or is Hokkaido Icecream supposed to be in a semi-liquid state?
Lack of sunshine, lack of entertainment. *bah* I am forced to seek comfort in the nearby Songfa Bak Ku Teh store. But even this disappointed.

Bak Ku Teh @ Songfa
Interesting array of items on the menu. But Songfa falls short of the hype by serving mediocre food quality. I’ve had better bak ku teh. I have a bowl of lukewarm soup, soggy dough fritters and dry small intestines (which made me wonder. WHY did i even order this?)
My Sunday however was redeemed by great company, getting my hands on Lipstick Jungle and True Blood, and an enjoyable Yoga practice session before I dozed off.
