We finished the fruity Cider we bought a couple of weeks ago. I washed and kept the bottles for awhile thinking I’ll find some use for it soon as the bottles are really quite pretty. Alas, today in the midst of spring cleaning, I threw them out only to regret now! While browsing Etsy on ideas to recycle, I came across recycled bottles as drinking glasses.

The next batch of bottles I have, I’ll take a leaf out of Etsy and recycle them into funky glasses for the house! They’ll make a fine addition to my kitchen!

What’s so wonderful about today is because I finally got down to baking. Its been on my want-to-do list for the longest time.
What’s so awesome about today is because I spent lots of time with mom and it was really fun.
It started with me wanting to bake Viennese Shortbread and Almond Cookies for an idea I had in mind. We started off baked Viennese Shortbread, and then skinned and toasted the almonds and as a bonus, spontaneously decided to bake a Chocolate Cake too! (Practically speaking, since the oven is already fired up.) I followed up with helping my mom cook dinner.
