Ice-cream, Playboy, Sea breeze & the Cat that crashed my serenity
I was under the weather for the day and felt like taking a breather. Nick brought me out for a little fresh air to clear my muddled head.
We stopped by Esso Mobile Cheers and I picked up B&J icecream [Dublin Mudslide] and a copy of VIP Playboy mag.
We popped by Pasir Ris park. The weather was co-operative – A cool, cloudy breeze but it held in all the raindrops. When Nick was practicing on his guitar and I finished browsing the Playboy, there was a visitor. Lack of inspiration for a proper name, I called her Meow-meow.

I fed her some cat nibbles [Friskies Party Mix] I bought for Tickles and kept in my bag. After afew bites, she left them on the floor. I suppose she’s more accustomed to the BBQ fare in her locality and was forced to turn up her noses at my dry food offerings.
Being beside the sea, letting my imaginings roam free and just accompanied by Nick and my iPod helped me relax tremendously. For the moment, I felt free from my stresso-messo work cuffs.
After dinner, we had a good long talk about us and who we are together. Altogether satisfying, I believe we have some issues but its heartwarming how well we can talk things through.
I miss the sea breeze, the serenity and I promise I’ll visit soon. Hold the weather for me please. Thanks!
