It feels weird, now that the event I’ve worked so hard for and lost countless nights of sleep over has ended. Everything seems back to square one. Everything just passed so quickly that I didn’t have time to really enjoy each moment. Its just fire-fighting one after another.
Of course, its back to the grind tomorrow, tying up the loose ends.
Its a weird feeling, this sense of displacement.
I had to ask myself, “What’s next? Should I really?”
The past few weeks has been jam-packed with work. Today I decided to do something spontaneous, something ridiculous even.
I’ve declared this a Random Saturday. It means I’m going to take a random trip out, going in random directions, random paths. Inject some spontaneity into my mundane life and for once, really lose concept of time. Forget deadlines, forget timelines.
I ended up taking a bus near by house and deciding to get down at Geylang Serai area before I continue on foot towards Parkway. Ok, so the getting lost part needs abit of working on. Yet, after this journey I realise that its not about getting lost. Its about discovering new things.
On this trip, I’ve seen some interesting sights around my soon-to-be neighbourhood. I suppose more “expeditions” are in the pipeline once I’ve moved in.

While uploading photos from 3 out of 4 rolls of film I just picked up from the photo shop, I am amazed at how many rolls of film I’ve used since last November (Barely more than 5 months).
Lomography is really here to stay.
