Throughout the process of resizing the photos and uploading them to the blog, I’ve been cussing. Silly me has forgotten to check the power level of my camera which resulted in premature camera death during the excursion. I only managed to capture 10% of the journey. Drats. *face palm*
Mental Note: Buy extra battery pack!
Nick and I covered Haji lane, Arab Street and the Sultan Mosque, followed by Bali Lane and ended up at Suntec City.
Its a really hot, humid and bright day. But thats how I like it to be when I’m out taking shots. The day is so bright, you can see every single detail on the architecture and surroundings.
This being my first time to Haji lane precinct, I am rather overwhelmed by the many interesting sights. A return trip (with a full battery pack) is definite!
When we first emerged from the Bugis MRT, I was rather impressed by the high security levels at the entrance. Check out the number of cameras installed!

We walked from Bugis MRT -> Golden Mile Complex -> Haji Lane

The infamous Haji Lane
Haji lane must have been a rather well known haunt. I met lots of tourists. Strangely, most of them are Japanese!
Observation 1: There are lots of pigeons lazing around Haji Lane.

Observation 2: Each shop is uniquely decorate – Check out store signage.

I really wanted to visit the Singapore Lomo Ambassy but its Closed! I want my Diana Mini!!!

Objectifs
There’s lots to explore at Arab St precinct. We’ve came across a Children Little Museum where they collected toys from the 60s and beyond. There’s lots of textile shops selling gorgeous silk, trimmings and even jewelery supplies. I’ve not tried the food at any of the outlets here. But judging from the deco and the groups of people chilling out, it should be fab.
Another interesting place to chill out should be the Blu Jazz Bar at Bali Lane. Will do so soon and post some pictures. =]
Its been an interesting Saturday. Now, where shall I explore next weekend?

Most often then not, a long list of To-Dos running in my mind like an old fashioned Movie Reel, rattling and jarring.
So its rather a welcome surprise that on the way home today, I started mentally counting days for events that excite me instead.
I counted days passed:
I counted to days to look forward to:
